Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our independent, outsourced after-sales and field service. Can’t find your answer? Get in touch.
oneservice is an independent, global provider of outsourced after-sales and field service. We run installation, maintenance, repair, depot repair & refurbishment, spare-parts management and managed service on behalf of OEMs, manufacturers, distributors and resellers — so you deliver excellent service to your customers without building and running your own service organisation.
We work with OEMs, manufacturers, distributors and resellers of life-science, diagnostic, medical-device and aesthetic-medicine equipment who want a dependable service partner instead of the cost and complexity of an in-house field-service team.
We specialise in four regulated, precision-driven industries: life science (liquid handling, lab automation, sample prep, analytical instruments, NGS), in-vitro diagnostics (molecular diagnostics, clinical analyzers, PCR and extraction, IVD systems), medical devices (imaging, patient monitoring, point-of-care, surgical and rehabilitation) and aesthetic medicine (laser, radiofrequency, light-based and cryo systems).
oneservice delivers local, accountable service across Europe and North America from our own regional hubs, with more regions to follow. Instead of a loose network of independent local companies, you get one partner, one team and one consistent service standard across every market.
Our engineers are cross-trained across many platforms — like a Swiss knife — including liquid handlers, lab automation, analytical instruments, mass spectrometry, molecular diagnostics and PCR, clinical chemistry and immunoassay analyzers, IVD systems, imaging and patient-monitoring devices, aesthetic systems and incubators and storage. If your platform is precision-critical, we can very likely support it.
Yes. Through our sister brand liquid-handler-service.com we provide independent service, preventive maintenance, repair and qualification for Hamilton, Tecan and Dynex automated liquid handlers across Europe and North America, including compatible tips and refurbished systems.
Yes. Alongside on-site field service we operate turn-key depot repair and refurbishment, plus spare-parts and consumables management, to extend equipment life, reduce downtime and give your installed base a predictable, cost-efficient service pathway.
We offer two off-the-shelf models. In Model A, oneservice becomes your dedicated service team and delivers under your brand; in Model B, we provide managed and professional services that complement your existing organisation. Both scale up or down with your installed base and adapt to your regions and platforms.
Yes. Our engineers can operate fully white-label, under your brand, so your customers experience a seamless extension of your company — while you gain flexible capacity, wider coverage and lower fixed cost behind the scenes.
Absolutely. Our technicians are trained and certified on your platforms, follow your service procedures and stay current through our Service Excellence Academy, so every visit meets the standard your customers and regulators expect.
Quality and compliance sit at the core of every engagement. We work to documented processes, calibration and validation standards, and the regulatory expectations of regulated environments (such as ISO, GxP and IVDR/MDR), with full traceability and reporting so you keep complete oversight.
Running your own field-service organisation carries high fixed cost in headcount, training, travel, tooling and spare-parts inventory. Outsourcing converts that into a flexible, scalable cost that follows your installed base — typically lowering total cost of service while improving coverage, response times and customer satisfaction. Our whitepaper shows where the hidden costs hide.
The Service Excellence Academy is our training and consulting arm. It certifies our own engineers and can also upskill your teams and optimise your service operations — part of our end-to-end offer spanning managed service, professional services, consulting and learning.
Response times are agreed in your service-level agreement and matched to how mission-critical each platform is. Because we combine local engineers with depot repair and spare-parts logistics, we keep your equipment — and your customers — up and running with minimal downtime.
Tell us about your installed base, platforms and service footprint, and we will show you how outsourcing to oneservice can lower cost and raise customer satisfaction. Get in touch through our contact page for an initial conversation and a tailored proposal.
